ABOUT PROVICARIO
Nestled in the heart of Victoria, Gozo’s historical centre, Provicario is a renovated traditional Gozitan historic townhouse and family-run guesthouse located along the narrow streets between the Citadel and St George’s Square, the heart of Victoria.
All rooms feature either a balcony or a terrace overlooking the lively market streets below. Several rooms, as well as the rooftop terrace, enjoy breathtaking views of the Citadel, St George's Basilica, and the surrounding townscape.

Our aim was to offer a place that combined modern comfort with the charm of a traditional Gozitan family home - this vision guided every aspect of renovations made.

Provicario was the former name of the street on which the house stands. A provicariate is a small ecclesiastical district. The Provicario was the official who headed the Chancery, which housed the Archives and the Provicarial Court.​​​​​​​
OUR ROOMS
Provicario offers spacious rooms, each with its own balcony or terrace. Our rooms enjoy different views, ranging from the Citadel to the lively market streets. With their individual character, colours, and design, every room provides a unique atmosphere.
All rooms are equipped with AC, complimentary Wi-Fi, and USB charging ports to ensure a comfortable stay.

Served from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, our delicious continental breakfast is freshly prepared and served on our rooftop terrace, overlooking the magnificent Citadel.

Airport Transfer
​
Airport transfers can be arranged from Malta International Airport to the ferry terminal, either by Bolt or through a trusted local taxi service. From there, you can continue your journey to Gozo via the fast ferry from Valletta or the regular ferry from ÄŠirkewwa, depending on your preference and arrival time.
Winter Garden
A peaceful green retreat amidst the warm stone surroundings of Victoria. A step before reaching the rooftop terrace, enjoy this small corner of greenery and tranquillity.
